The question I’m hearing most frequently these days is: “What should I expect for production during the holiday season?”
I’ll do my best to set expectations for how our vendors work during Black Friday and Christmas – the busiest production times of the year that are now upon us!
The day the order is submitted is considered “Day 0.” This day is not technically counted as part of the production schedule, though most vendors will begin making your order on that day. You can count the true production days like this:
The vast majority of Gooten products are produced in 3-4 days, meaning you should expect to see tracking numbers on orders by production days 3 or 4. That said, it’s normal to see that some of your orders don’t ship until Production Day 5 or 6 during the peak holiday busy season.
If an order hasn’t shipped by the 6th day of production, that’s when the Gooten vendor management team steps in. We maintain daily conversations with all of our vendors through shared portals and documents, which allows us to get updates from our contacts on the production floor. We follow-up several times daily on your behalf to get late orders shipped!
