Order Process

When a customer submits an order, it goes through a series of stages before being delivered to your customer. A typical flow of an order may look something like this:

Below is a table of all the potential order statuses and under which stage of an order’s process they may fall. The stages include:

  1. Order Receipt
  2. Image Processing
  3. Accounting
  4. Review Period
  5. Fulfillment
Order Receipt
Stage 1 PrePayment The user selected paypal but the transaction hasn't been completed
New An order has just been submitted
Potential Errors
Address Issue We were unable to verify the customer's address
Image Processing
Stage 2 ReadyForImageDl There was an issue accessing the submitted image. Gooten support will download the image and resubmit it.
Potential Errors
HoldByCIImageIssue Hold by co-item. This means the manufacturer has grouped certain items together but one of them has an image issue, so the manufacturer is holding all orders in the group.
ImageIssue There is a problem with the image, so the order is unable to be pushed into production
Accounting
Stage 3 ReadyForAccounting Your order is in a queue for the payment to be security checked and processed manually. Payment has not been processed yet
PaymentProcessing Payment is currently being processed
Potential Errors
PaymentIssue There was an error processing your payment
Review Period
Stage 4 NeedsManualApproval By default, orders can be held for review by the Gooten team. You can change this setting in the Checkout section of your Admin Settings
Pending The order is in a wait period and will be submitted after the wait period
ReadyForPrint The order has been approved and is waiting in queue to be sent to the manufacturer
Potential Errors
Cancelled The order has been cancelled, usually by you updating the status
CancelledRefunded The order has been sent to the manufacturer to be produced
Hold The manufacturer has received the order and is in the process of printing it
PartnerCancelled The order was requested to be cancelled by you, the partner
Fulfillment
Stage 5 ManuallyInProduction A member of the Gooten staff has pushed the order into production
InProduction The order is in a wait period and will be submitted after the wait period
Printing The order has been approved and is waiting in queue to be sent to the manufacturer
Shipped The manufacturer has shipped the order. You can see its current status in the Shipment tab of the Order details
OutForDelivery The order has been packed and waiting for collection by the courier. Once it has been collected the tracking number will then be entered and the order status will then be set to Shipped.
Delivered The order has been delivered to the specified address
Potential Errors
VendorAPIIssue There was a problem connecting to the manufacturer's API. Contact partnersupport@gooten.com for help
VendorCancelled The manufacturer has cancelled the order after it was sent to production
ShippingIssue There was a problem while shipping the order - please contact Gooten support at partnersupport@Gooten.com
