Gooten Named One of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies

by Gooten Editorial Team on Aug. 12, 2020

We are incredibly excited to announce Gooten has earned a coveted spot on the Inc. 5000 list. Below is a copy of our official press release.

Gooten, an eCommerce technology company that combines print-on-demand manufacturing with a robust logistics platform to fulfill and deliver orders on time, today announced it is ranked No. 2192 on the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Inc. 5000 and ranked alongside so many remarkably innovative businesses,” said Gooten CEO Brian Rainey. “We’ve seen incredible growth over the past year which we could not have achieved without the ongoing trust and support from our merchant partners. Our growth is a testament to our amazing team that has adapted tremendously to the unprecedented shifts in the eCommerce world. We will continue to innovate through technology solutions and new services providing merchants access to the best production opportunities globally.”

The New York-based Gooten’s three-year revenue growth rate of 191.74% landed it among the top 50% of fast-growing companies honored by Inc. Gooten’s print-on-demand platform enables high-growth eCommerce stores to manufacture a wide range of quality products without holding inventory, and its ability to dynamically route orders ensures items will be delivered to customers on time. Founded in 2015 and already profitable, Gooten’s growth has allowed it to expand its global network of vetted manufacturers and logistics partners, as well as build out its management team.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”

The 2020 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019.
